Welcome to Hounded, Cowed, & Badgered, a blog about U.S. law and (nonhuman) animals. This site reflects the belief that animals have interests that should be recognized by the law, but are not. Posts deal with developments in the law governing animals, as well as legislation and decisions impacting animal activists.
The royal "we" has so far solely been Jonathan, who does criminal appeals in Chicago. People interested in animal law and policy are encouraged to contribute! The e-mail is hounded at gmail dot com.
This blog would not be possible without the Animal Law Blog, the first blog we know of devoted to animals and the law. Before starting up HC&B, we worked with the great law office with which it is associated. It would further not be possible if not for the fine teachers at the University of Minnesota Law School and the sustenance of food spiced with Huy Fong Sriracha.
